What is vascular neurology?

Vascular neurology focuses on cerebrovascular conditions involving the blood vessels in the brain and spinal cord, including:

  • Ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke(s)
  • TIA (transient ischemic attack) brain aneurysm(s)
  • Spinal cord and brain hemorrhage
  • Vascular disorders


Dr. Imam is board-certified in vascular neurology and previously directed stroke programs at both Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine and Medical Center of Arlington.  He does not actively treat patients at these hospitals anymore, but he is available for a second opinion, hospital follow-up, and consultation regarding your condition in clinic.
